Forsythia - Lynwood Gold

Introduced in 1935, the Lynwood Gold is a long time favorite! Its brilliant yellow to gold blossoms appear early on and are one of the first to welcome spring in Oklahoma. It's very fast growing, tolerates most soil types and loves the sun. The third photo was taken in Norman on McGee Street.
